The only thing that would make butterbeer better, in my opinion, is ice cream. As someone who has an unhealthy love of frozen delights it should be no surprise that a butterbeer float was at the top of my "to-try" list when we started Tipsy Wizards.
Our tried and true (very simple) boozy Butterbeer recipe is as follows:
4 parts chilled Cream Soda 1 part Butterscotch Schnapps 1 part Whipped Cream Vodka
Optional: top with cool whip or whipped cream and a few gold star sprinkles (found here)
For this variation I started with butterscotch ice cream (you can use vanilla or whatever flavor you think would taste best) and added the rest of the ingredients to a shaker to pour over the ice cream base. After that you can add whipped cream or cool whip - I decided against them for the first go and was very pleased with the outcome!
