A new photo was released last week, providing us with a glimpse of magizoologist Newt Scamander in the upcoming film, "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald". Wand in hand and clad in a charming bow tie, we see him turning over a postcard from Paris. After doing a little homework, we've learned that this postcard would've been made in what stamp collectors and mail enthusiasts call, "the White Border Era". In the years 1915 through 1930, publishers would leave an empty border around the edge of 3.5 by 5.5 inch postcards, in order to save ink. We designed a printable postcard, based on what we could see from this promo photo as well as some historical references we dug up!
While you're sending snail mail and owl post of your own, we'll be wondering who could be sending Newt notes from the City of Lights?
